Who is Suitable for Beard Transplant?

In some hormonal irregularities, an endocrinology doctor may need to give treatment before beard transplant surgery. These hormonal irregularities may be due to imbalances of hormones such as testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone.
Surgery Stages
Beard transplant operations take about 6 hours and are performed under local anesthesia.
In patients who are suitable for beard transplantation, beard transplantation is performed in three stages.
1- Removal of grafts from the donor area with the FUE method: At this stage, especially thin and single grafts are selected from the donor area. Because choosing the grafts to be made in this way is one of the most important factors that will provide a natural appearance after the operation.
2- Making an incision in the area to be transplanted: at this stage, channels are opened at natural angles to the area to be transplanted with sapphire blades. The factor to be considered at this stage is the experience of the doctor who will open the channel. Incorrectly opened channels cause the growth directions of the beards to stop artificially after the operation, and this is an irreversible mistake.
3- Implantation of the grafts taken into the opened channels: At this stage, the grafts that are most similar to the beard structure are transplanted into the opened channels one by one.
